Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Please read carefully the Agribiohealth Journal publishing system policy. The submission process of all the manuscripts in Agribiohealth Journal follows the publication's system policy in the Open Journal System (Publishing System)

 

The submission to Agribiohealth Journal made online. Users need to register when accessing the system for the first time. Detailed instructions and help files are available online, if you have trouble, users can call a contact or e-mail. Agribiohealth Journal will follow up the manuscript that has been filed with precast posted on the server. The manuscript will undergo a review by a peer-review, which are as strict as manuscripts posted on a precast server. Before submitting, make sure your manuscript has been formatted according to the template. Save your file in .docx format (Word 2010 or higher) or .doc format (older Word versions). All manuscripts should be accompanied by author statement/statement letter.

 

General Rules of Writing

  1. Article includes title, author name(s), abstract in English, keywords, introduction, methods, results and discussions, conclusions, and references (a detailed description is in Article Writing Systematic below).
  2. Article can be written in Indonesian or English language with Microsoft Word.
  3. Article is written with Cambria, size 10, 1.0 line spacing, the margin text from the left and top are 2.5 cm, right and bottom are 2 cm, and the number of pages must be between 8 to 12 pages or 16 pages for systematic review/survey paper.
  4. Paper size is A4 in single column.
  5. Formulas and equations are written with Microsoft Equation.
  6. Table title is written above the table (1 line spacing) with numerical numbering (Table 1, Table 2, etc.).
  7. Table is single line spacing and made without vertical borders. Source of table must be included at the bottom of the table, if the table or its content refers to literature sources. If its content contains the results of primary data analysis, then it does not need to include any source.
  8. Figure title is written below the figure (1 line spacing) with numerical numbering (Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.).
  9. Source of figure must be included at the bottom of the title, if the figure refers to literature sources. If the figure is a graph (bar, pie, line, etc.) that describes the results of primary data analysis, then it does not need to include any source.
  10. References are written using Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) style by using a reference manager Mendeley or Endnote.

 

Organization of article

Research Article

  1. Title

Title should be brief and clear. It better contains the maximum number of twelve words. The title should be followed by the name of author(s) and the institution(s).  If the authors come from more than one institution, symbols or numbers should be added before each authors' institution.

  1. Abstract

Abstract should be written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia with the maximum number of 200 words. It should be brief and clear to help readers understand the whole article. The abstract should contain the purpose of the study, method, the main finding(s), the main conclusion(s), and the keywords. The keywords are written within the three spaces after the last word of abstract.

  1. Introduction

Contains of the background(s), problem(s), and the purpose(s) of the study.

  1. Methods

Consist of the explanation about research design, place and time, population, scale, sampling method, variable, instrument, research procedures, and data analysis.

  1. Results and Discussion

This section contains findings which are delivered in the form of narration, table, and/or figure and the result of statistical test with brief explanation. Title of the table(s) should be written above the table. In contrary, title of figure(s) should be written under the figure(s). Discussion contains of specific explanations, supporting arguments, further discussion related to the previous finding(s) that have been published, and the findings that contribute to the development of public science and technology.

  1. Conclusions

The main conclusion is the result of research (avoid generalization), and refer to the description in the discussion, and answer the research objectives. The conclusions are described in the form of points or narrative, logical and precise.

  1. Acknowledgement (if necessary)

Technical assistance and advice can be described at the end of the text. Then the names of individuals that are included in this section, the author is responsible for the written consent of every person who communicates personally or recognized by the individual in the text.

  1. Reference

References should be written alphabetically (using Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) writing style). Reference composition of 80 percent journals and in the last 5 years period.

 

Literature Review article

  1. Literature Review article is the scientific article with the aim of reviewing journals and/or books related to focus and scope.
  2. The organization of the article are similar with the research article which contains title, abstract, introduction, and references. However, the discussion of literature review article becomes a subsection in every section of the article.

  8. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
